I'm with you sig....no idea what market will do short term or long term....thats why I am both doing some trading, as well as LTB&H. And trying to maintain a 50/50 ratio between equities and cash, so I can do well if we go up, and buy on the cheap if we go down.

Now, more then ever, a good, solid strategy is a must. One cannot just invest blindly, and not follow things. I think it is prident in this market to take 100 - 200% gains while they are there. Dont let greed talk you into holding. If you get over 100% it allows you to sell half and keep shares with a zero cost basis, and therfor little worry. If you get more then 100%, it allows you to book a guaranteed profit, as well as keep no cost shares on the table.

Solid strategy, good planning, and NO GREED, is the key for survival in this market.
