Tin Knight, If they are satisfied being only average, they cannot expect consideration from lending agents. Extended credit card debt is a scam that too many fools fall for too easily. A home mortgage is one of the most blatant thefts considered to be a business transaction. The amortization of a loan is highway robbery, and the people allow it to continue without protest. Many years ago, these scams became clear, so I have no mortgage on a home, no loan on my Jeep, and all credit cards are paid in full within days of the statement date. Not the payment date, but the date it arrived. By being debt free, one can increase his monetary assets at a rapid rate, and things just get better.
