So, you think complete energy deregulation would work? Boy, have I got a few dozen bridges to sell to you... :)

Energy cannot be deregulated without extreme danger of these types of occurrences, and worse (e.g. the thievery in California). It's just too critical to safety and our economy. Re-regulation is the answer.

Well we saw what deregulation did in California with Enron's fraud and manipulation. You want these highs prices to spread all over?
