Appreciate your comments John. Unfortunately, so many things have been polarized, that one can hardly find things that aren't weighted. What I, and from the sounds of things, you, object to is only a one sided version continually being expressed, without any opposing views being considered.

We probably agree on the FBI 'mess'. Frankly, it would be good to have hearings in public on what has happened, with both excuses/reasons, and opposing excuses/reasons allowed to be public. I don't think the public can nor should be privy to national security issues, but that Congress should be. I'm just as sick of Bob Barr when he was pontificating, as I am Robert Byrd ...and ditto Ted Kennedy. I am old enough to remember Chappaquiddick.

The power mess could be, and hopefully, will bring all of us together to find what happened, and how to 'fix' it. Both Clinton's and GWB's Adms have been saying that for years. It shouldn't surprise anyone.

Why should people with money build transmission lines, when they can invest the same amount of money other places, and make a better return?

Even if new lines and stations are built...where do they go? Does NIMBY always win? Or Greens? Why not nuclear plants? Pros and cons? Who to trust? And why?
