If they are not related then the connection can break at any time.

I wonder if anyone threw a M80 firecracker yesterday right as the power went off and thought they might have somehow caused it and were scared s*less for some time.

What % of total money does rydex represent?
Is it large enough to even matter?

Of more relevance to me is the huge numbers of QQQ puts month in and month out. I doubt that has anything to do with rydex but is far more likely to be a reason to rally (or at least not fall).

Don't see much correlation from that...looks like we had a nice surge in Nova/Rydex in April and May, and that didn't exactly mark a bottom.
