"Please answer these simple questions"

Ok, but why won't you answer mine? Pay close attention and I will show you where the fault in your logic lies.

"1. Is federal spending going UP?"
Yes. It goes up EVERY YEAR.

"2. Are the primary sources of funding for federal spending,

a. funds raised through taxes, and

b. funds raised through the float of bonds (borrowing)?"

I believe so. Not sure the amount of borrowing against tax collection, but my perception is that most comes from taxing us poor folks to death. You should see what it is like in CA, where some of the HIGHEST TAX RATES IN THE NATION have resulted in a deficit that is larger than the other 49 states combined. Ouch!

"3. Is the interest and principal repayment on the bonds (borrowing) necessarily REPAID THROUGH FUNDS GENERATED FROM FEDERAL TAXES?"

Yes? Not sure it is all from Fed income tax as the pols like to take from various sources like SS, tobacco company settlements (a state example), but my guess is that it is supposed to be.

"4. If you answered "yes" to all three previous questions then is the total cost of this year's federal government (which has skyrocketed,) going to be repaid with HIGHER tax collections?"

Yes, or our country may go BK. Hopefully we can avoid that (I think we can).

"5. Has the new tax "cut" shifted more of the proportionate burden for paying for the federal government from the wealthy to the middle income taxpayers?"

This is not relevant. There has been a tax cut enacted that benefits most, if not all all Americans. The wealthiest guys who pay the MOST taxes benefit more greatly than the poor people who don't pay any taxes. But the poor benefit by getting to live here (in the greatest nation on earth), for free.

"6. With higher total tax revenues NECESSARY to repay the higher expenditures and the increased borrowing, and with more of the burden having shifted to the middle income taxpayers, HOW DO YOU FIGURE THAT MIDDLE INCOME WAGE EARNERS WILL PAY LESS IN TAXES AS THESE GOVERNMENT SPENDING BILLS COME DUE?????"

You "the sky is falling" types cannot comprehend this, but here goes. The economy will grow. When the economy grows, so do tax revenues. This is the giant hole in your argument. You cannot possible fathom anything other than doom for our country. I say free up money to the people WHO KNOW HOW TO MAKE IT, and we all benefit. And tax revenues go up. Strange concept, eh?

"the wealthy will pay less of it."
Is it your belief that they pay exactly the right amount before the Bush tax cuts, or that the top 10% should pay more than 60%? It is easy to take your bellyaching position that someone else should pay all the bills, but when that goes too far, it is called socialism. I think America is a good example of how letting people keep and invest their wealth produces the strongest and richest country overall.

"If you think this is a "democratic" position as you seem to like to throw in as if that discredits it"

It is a demo position to keep increasing taxes so their un-ending appetite to spend other people's money can be met. That is why they promote the class warfare position that says in the simplest terms that the top 10% should pay at least 60% of the bill. You do realize with this math that many are getting a free lunch, but it is not the top earners who pay most of our bills and should be treated with respect.

"It's a thinking issue"

But you seem to "think" the economy cannot grow. Otherwise you would have included that possibility in your list of convaluted questions that lead you to your false beliefs. You do know that our economy has grown pretty consistantly since the beginning of America. The best way to stop it is to overly penalize that guys and gals that make it work.

"Where does the "her" come from?"

I have trouble figuring out what your e-name is, but it looks like a play on the name cyndy. Are you a man or woman?
