I do not recall if there has ever been a liberal criticizing a liberal on the board. It is certainly less frequent than it should be, but then, I am mainly the one who got the ball rolling on protesting over the top stuff on the conservative side.

Intending to provoke thought? No. Smearing, demonizing, and taking political discourse into the gutter...we are a mature democracy, and should be able to conduct debate at a somewhat higher level........
