Apparently, he made a mathematical error and said 10% instead of 13.4%......his point still stands and still makes good sense. No he did more then that. He said 10% instead of 13.4 but he also said the 10% was just to deal with population growth and inflation while the 13.4% was per capita real growth. So he effectively said 0% (for per capita real growth) when it was 13.4%. That's not what I got out of the article. I'll have to read it again. Does not Bush's actions reversing oil industry legislation in favor of the industry suggest that Bush is acting like a man who has been "bribed"? No. He's pushing for oil/nat.gas drilling in the ANWR, in our national parks, in the Gulf etc, areas formerly protected. His administration cut exclusive contracts with former oil employers, providing for significant upper limits. What more do you need to see to convince you? Also there are other examples of false statements by Krugman either in my posts or in the links, such as wildly innacurate statements about taxes. According to the chart here - lyinginponds.com (See the methods link for how it's calculated) Krugman is almost as partisan as Coulter. Its one thing to be partisan, its another to be vitriolic 24/7 and in the process, rewrite history. Ann Coulter had left partisanship far behind........I am hoping only because she wants to sell more books. She is very dangerous if she believes the sh*t she is putting out.
