You do not have to like diamonds or own diamonds. Diamonds are a great source of currency (easily smuggled) to launder money.

Those "blood" diamonds go through the usual channels in Antwerp, Johannesburg, Tel Aviv, New York and India.

Apartheid South Africa and Isra'El were great trading partners in the diamond and gold markets.

Poor Blacks mined the gold and diamonds in South Africa and the cutting and shaping of the diamonds (and gold) were done by Palestinians in Tel'Aviv.

The end of Apartheid ended a good portion of the cheap labor and deep, high cost mines, so De Beers and others took their show on the road to the Soviet Union, Indonesia, and Canada.

Isra'El was a big beneficiary of Aparthied in South Africa.

Evidently, some so-called "Jews" did not remember persecution when it came their turn to end the persecution of others.
