Ed - I assume those people living in high rise appartments and condos may not get any water. No power, no pump for the water. Food in the refrigerators may spoil as well. The supermarkets and grocery stores have stand by diesel fuel generators but they are good for only two hours max. Do you see firesales on partly melted ice creams and various meat and deli items?

Hope those people in the Northeast get a little bit of feel on what the Iraqis went through during the embargo, and even more so everyday in the last few months.

Can northeast Americans relate the experience to what is taking place in Iraq? I doubt it, or maybe very little.
