....The current crop of tech companies have been beneficiaries of prop 13 for ZERO years.... Who said current companies. You said it yourself HP. I ran crane on their ground in the seventies. You should be glad Tandon can lease ground. You haven't forgotten that tech is your bread and butter? Higher rents mean less money for you. ....The companies who move in have no real assurance that their leases will be renewed fairly... And who decides what is fair? Could it be the market?
