I don't think they're generally lazy people

I would expect that they had been trained to absolute passivity around government officials, though. They just had thirty years of a brutal totalitarian government. That leaves a mark.

I was just referring to the Iraqi folks who are relying only on someone else to help them solve their problem. It will be interesting to see exactly what work ethic they do have. There are certainly many many types of work that needs to be done in a new, but old, country.

If the little boy is an example of the young folks there, they will do well.
