Well, I'd feel safer if Ashcroft had less power and Tom Ridge had more money. For example, airport security is still an absolute joke. I heard on the Bill Maher show that you can still send something air cargo, and it doesn't get inspected? Jeez, doesn't that seem, how do I say it, a little...incredibly dumb? Internationally, I personally feel no safer with the Iraq situation, Afghanistan going nowhere fast, and bin Laden/Omar/Saddam still on the loose. Paradise lost, indeed.

You said: "American freedom must end". Are you freaking nuts??? If American Freedom ends so does America and what it stands for. I don't care if it is the Nazis or terrorists of Martians for that matter that want to attack us. Unless we stick to our principles come hell or high water we are no different than those same Nazis, terrorists or Martians. The statement "American freedom must end" is the most treasonous statement I've heard yet...
