All of your points raised are wrong.

ALL OF THEM.

The document did not claim the grave and severe consequences would be avoided if "progress" was made. It demanded a full conclusion of the matter. Bush was clear that if that conclusion did not occur and the UN refused to act, he will lose faith in the UN's ability to uphold its own resolutions and would be forced to act, even without the UN.

Answer this: would you have forgiven Bush if he had waited the 45 days and during that time America was nuked by Iraq or some stateless terrorist who nuked us with Iraqi support? Of course not.

If the UN is not going to help protect its members, then it forfeits its "right" to tell anyone what to do. Its members have a natural right to look out for themselves.

We re-colonized Iraq because world Islam is making war on US. Your ilk loves the enemy, whether that enemy lives in Moscow, Hanoi, Baghdad, Damascus, or Pyongyang.

On Bush's watch, the enemy loses. And he uses the frustration of the left over that fact to defeat THEM also.

What a positive CONTRAST to Bob Dole and Gerald Ford!...

So the "Nine Dwarves" (or at least several of them) should be squealing "We wuz ROBBED?".

The public is receptive to THAT-to the extent of about 20%, the expected popular vote level in 2004 of any of the "Nine Dwarves"-or all of them together...
