rofl on the SF "lifestyle"!

I didn't know SD had grown so much. But there has been a longstanding debate about SF vs SJ being #2. SJ has the power to annex certain areas, the latest discussion being around alviso where Tivo is, (currently still Alviso and not SJ)- so SJ keeps growing by acquisition, sort of a spawling metropolis.

SF being surrounded by water can't really do this but there are some borderline areas like Brisbane (I'm not even sure if that is a city)- which are right up against SF and nobody cared about these areas UNTIL they were developed into office parks. Now those office parks are empty but the minute the next ebay goes in there- welcome to SF Brisbane residents (all 3 of you). Thats why I think alviso is hot, Tivo has some potential. Alviso is actually a garbage dump for SJ.
