It's eating your jealous heart out, isn't it? <g>

One of my achievements is my giving to LIBI, which supports the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).

Here is some info from the website: "Our soldiers prevail not by the strength of their weapons but by their sense of mission; by their consciousness of the justness of their cause, by a deep love for their country, and by their understanding of the heavy task laid upon them: to ensure the existence of our people in their homeland and to affirm, even at the cost of their lives, the right of the Jewish people to live their lives in their own state, free, independent and in peace." --- Yatzhak Rabin

I also give to Magen David Adom, Israel's Emergency, Medical, Health, Blood and Disaster Services.

Did you realize that Israel's Magen David Adom has also provided support for non Jews around the world? I am certain that you have never given a penny to help others, so I am probably wasting my time telling you about them.

Here is a little from their website:

"Between Friday, September 29, 2000 at 07:15 hours, and Friday, August 1, 2003 at 15:00 hours, UPDATED numbers:

MDA took care of 5,615 casualties as detailed below:

719 killed, 491 severely injured, 698 moderately and 3,707 lightly injured, among them 11 MDA staff members."
