KT, The bulk of the blame for drops in the market can be attributed to the Fed. Clinton may still have his cojones, but he uses them for pleasure, instead of for the affairs of state. He has become a laughing stock to the majority of the nation, regardless of what a few liberals may have to say. Clinton decimated the military, refused to allow them to have the supplies, spare parts, and the newest weapons available. Bush has corrected that tragedy, and the military cheers Bush wherever he goes, and vote for him, almost, enmasse. Our troops get all the water they need, it is the wild-eyed, ungrateful, dirty faced, lepers, of some of the population of Baghdad that are doing all the bitching. The military is getting better pay, and more support from this administration than ever, and are quite happy with Bush. The only thing we need to do now, is to remove our troops and let those ingrates kill each other, instead of sniping at our troops. Gee whiz, our protection policies are so bad under Bush, that we have had no attacks on American soil since 9/11. Speaking of 9/11, Clinton had the opportunity to capture Osama, and he turned it down, so where does the blame rest now. Several attempts to smuggle in terrorist weapons have been stopped, and the perpetrators arrested by, in your mind, our incompetent security folks. One thing you may not be aware of about Hoover, is that he presented programs that were exactly like those imposed by FDR, but since Franky boy controlled the democratically controlled congress, they were all defeated on the floors of congress. Then, when FDR got elected, he used the same tactics to attempt to halt the recession. Even with that, he failed, until he, personally, ordered the entire Pacific Fleet into Pear Harbor, knowing that there was a possibility of attack by the Japanese. Every military man involved begged him not to take this risk, but the only we he could bring the country out of the depression was to goad the Japanese into war, by voiding every treaty we ever had with them, and at the cost of thousand of young Americans. Do some research. Perhaps you will find the truth. FDR, also gave half of Europe to the Communist cartel under Joseph Stalin, and cause many more lives to be lost. Haven't you read the book?? All you have to do to bring Tinkerbell back to life, is clap your hand. Preferably, not while they are in the front of your pants.
