Checking in. About a week ago had some good conversation about real estate, brokers etc. on the board here.

As noted in my original message----i am selling my house.

My realtor is super----had open house with about 15 groups through and traffic everyday this week with several repeats and now a family coming back for the 3rd time today and another came for the 2nd time today. With more expressing interest.

Observation----it pays to have a realtor who has the contacts in the real estate community.

Antoher house went on the market in division and had open house the same day as mine. So they brought in buyers and I brought in buyers. They now have 2 contracts and i am hoping for offers soon. This is amazing----the market is hot at least in this neighborhood.

Part of it is the area----and the school district---proximity to work sites--location---and the neighborhood.

Looking over listings I was intrigued that a basic split level built for about $20,000 35 years ago is now going for around $400.000 in this area in the listings. Whether or not they are selling at that I don't know.

Thunder storm have to close down.
