While the SEC and congress are bragging about the new "level playing field" they still have allowed all the inside information to stay under control of the street's houses: - specialists have two weeks before they report the nature of their trading... - short positions need not be disclosed until almost six weeks after the fact... - inside trading is also delayed for no reason (it should be posted each day, since the executing broker has a "mark" on all insiders in stocks they deal)... .
