Bush could easily have done the power failure to take focus away from his failed Iraq policies and allowed the other huge engineering firms to get monies that have been given to only Halliburton for Iraq......Bechtel et al could now be the huge recipients of federal monies to build new power structures after they have been howling about the completely rigged bidding system for Cheney's Cronies. Then again....if you saw W, it was another classic DEER IN THE HEADLIGHTS press conference showing him totally out of it in dealing with a real crisis in this country. His beady little black holes for eyes were really empty on this one.....panic time in the white house again.......another complete disaster for the nation when it could have been easily prevented with a few billion dollars.....but I forgot....ALL THE MONEY IS GOING TO REBUILD IRAQ....and will be for the next DECADE....
