Thanx for the Kick back; The reason I'm looking over the MDY
( I mostly trade the QQQ )..but I'm up in years..and I have plans
to exit the stock trading in 2005.., my wife is 10yrs younger
than me and in a lot better health..while she in not market
savvy I think I can teach her how to trade the MDY ( which is
safer than most of the others )
So I'll be posting more on the MDY..mostly to get my
thoughts together as how to teach trading it to her.
----
Due to my age and health I'm in a lot of bonds..
about 40% , 40% stocks 20% cash..
Over half the bond part is in the shorter term
I-bonds. ( you can hold them 30yrs but
in a lot of ways they are almost like 1 yr CDs except
the rate can change ( they are paying 4.66% at this time.)
well some of my older ones are paying 5.67%..
Tax deferred.

The stock part can do better , but older people
need to play it more safe.
So if I don't cash out of stocks in 2005..it will
be a must that she is comfortable and at least knows how
to trade the MDY..
