Sadr's building an Islamic army and he's got plenty of volunteers. These people are planning on running the Americans right out of Iraq and making no bones about it. Bremer and Sanchez don't dare lay a glove on Sadr. And therein lies the tale of Iraq's future: an Islamic republic with Sadr or one of the other Mullahs in charge. These people are going to run Westerners out of Iraq just the way the Vietnamese ran them out of Vietnam. The Neocons never gave any thought to what they would do about the PEOPLE of Iraq after they took it. They figured they'd just build a few bases and start pumping oil and everyone would live happily ever after. They had only to look at the last couple of decades in Iran to get a clue.
