I think these job cuts will continue into 2004 which will cause Bush to lose re-election. Then, however, I'll bet we see a revision to the mean in terms of outsourcing for a number of reasons, mostly due to a lack of careful evaluation of risk when persuing these strategies. So far this cycle of offshoring is following the 80s plan to a tee. Anyway I'll bet in late 04 we will have a new president, and a more balanced jobs climate. Good times again, too late for Bush.
