Silver discussion threads. Are there any?

There's the silver price monitor, but it's pretty dead these days. The WTC, AQI and SVL threads have a bit of activity, but to tell you the truth, I really don't cruise them.

I've settled on PAAS and SSRI for pure silver spot price plays, and a bunch of juniors for all the other reasons. This early in a bull (?) market, the interest is pretty low.

That's what it means to be a contrarian.

Just reread your message. You follow silver?

If he's interested in conservative investing my recommendation is to tell him to forget it. The silver stocks will give you quite a thrill ride. If you can't shake him and he still wants to invest, tell him to do one of 3 things.

1. Go talk to Puplava securities (they are very bullish on silver) on financial sense web.

2. Take your money and split it between PAAS, SSRI and HL.

3. Same as 2., except do it in equal thirds over 3 months. This will average out some of the fluctuations.

Silver stocks have had a really nice run the past month, and may pull back. Tell him it's a 5 year committment and....

NO PROMISES!
