the military benefits snafu is going to cost Bush dearly though. He thinks he is more popular than he is, the polls are deceptive imho. Middle of the road people don't like Bush and this military pay cut is a slam against his traditional base which he cannot afford to lose.

I knew Bush was overestimating himself when his advisors issued that PR that CA was "up for grabs". If Bush wins here I will eat my hat.

If Bush is smart, he will be remarkably cynical because Americans deserve no more than his cynicism. He should milk 911 for all its worth. The world in which his "promises" were uttered is no more-- burned away by the "terists" of 911.

Yall crazy if you think Bush is not very strong at this point, despite the economy. The guy is strong because every single Democrat to challenge him is just a friggin dweeb. Americans ain gone trust this volatile point in our history to Lieberman, Kerry or some preacher from the inner city.
