Yes, I believe you are correct in this assessment. The pity of it is, our government's wrong-headed decision to abandon domestic infrastructure replenishment for the sake of a militarist/imperialist future seems to actually be exacerbating the problem, rather than providing plunder to the treasury.

One has to marvel at how completely irrational our situation is in Iraq. After having just stolen a $4 Trillion asset, it appears that Little King George has already squandered that treasure by giving it away to his cronies, while in the meantime the chumps, i.e. us taxpayers, are expected to pay today, and when the debts build up, pay again forever for this folly.
