C3 fake diamonds piss away money etc.. Greenberg on street .com for over three years wrote articles on cree and how they would sell to this outfit and gain huge receivables and inflate profits .. then they bought the mdse back or bought interest in company.. then this went on until Greenberg and the outfit in Boston that was short cree moved on... no secrets here... but in long run the company is financially strong now and pays theirs bills.. I am sure it was a golden handshake but sometimes you have to make your market...
off topic but look at qcom investments to make cdma market. many of them fell on their face also. but you sometimes have to build up your clients before you can sell to them.

I do not see sec investigation having a problem with cree on these transactions as long as all identified in reports.
