When SARS returns, I think we will have coordinated and aggresive response to contain it, where ever it pops up.

No more hiding information, or ignoring quarantine.

If a valid test can be developed & deployed that will be even better. (Complete validation of the new tests are affected by the current lack of large numbers of active SARS patients)

Yes, I have a PhD in Biochemistry (USC 1978) and am writing a review on the origins and evolution of SARS CoV (just Google niman sars for past comments).

First sequence data (200 bp) is in on Surrey SARS CoV and it is 100% identical to other SARS CoVs.

Look for some interesting footwork as Canada and WHO try to dance around this one:
