Yes I know it is easy to move jobs offshore, however, there are costs which imho are not being accounted for... so we'll have to see how it plays. IP ownership and tactical management of the offshore team are 2 areas. We will continue to offshore for sure, all I know is when this happened to mfg in the 80s there was an overshoot for sure. My area enterprise software has gone to india for good. It is mature now, no growth there so thats it then. The new areas area all the stuff coming out of apple, film, video DVR etc. We'll have to see how well the offshoring of those go, my guess is in a new industry no offshoring. Only the mature stuff.
