Hi Nadine Carroll; Re: "Oops! Did our special forces cross your border? So very sorry."

Funny that you didn't provide a link, LOL.

Here are the facts: The US has accused Iran of fomenting and supporting attacks against the US in Iraq. By contrast, Iran makes few complaints. I'd say that they're coming over the border at us in droves. In fact, Iranian trained guerillas / civilians / whatever recently killed 6 British soldiers in the worst guerilla war incident since Bush declared victory on May 1st.

Special forces in Arab countries is Israel's specialty, not the US's. If it were possible to keep Syria or Iran (or Iraq) in line with a few special forces Israel would have done it a long time ago.

The fact is that our influence on all these guys has decreased since the Iraq war. We simply don't have the military reserves available to make real trouble for them.

What got Bush into trouble in Iraq was a fantasy of power that is similar to what you are claiming. The problem with fantasies (go ahead and prove what you are saying with reputable links instead of simply implying that it could happen, LOL) is that they tend to result in foreign policy disasters.
