t4texas,
Thanks for the references. The situation is worse in WIS, but we have yet to limit property tax increases. Over-ride of Gov's veto failed by one vote last week. The state is run by liberal Dems, multiculturalists, special interests and bureaucrats. I wonder if the JSP's will ever wake up to the fact our tax situation is worse than those on the left coast. More than depressing; I am looking to move to a tax haven like KY.

I live in WIS also and it seems to me that Republican majorities have held both houses of the legislature for quite some time. A Republican governor was elected in 1984 and served until he joined Bushes Cabinet in 2001, handing the job to another Republican until the election in 2002. Are you sure Wisconsin is run by liberals?
