As of July 8th there were 2.15 million shares sold short of AMSC up 250k from the previous month. July 8th we were in the $6 range. I would suspect short interest was a higher number than that as of last Friday. I doubt many of those shorts are still in their positions after Friday's ride. That I believe accounted for much of Friday's rise. Time will tell.
