I read it also. I look for disconnects. In effect Horowitz in the article was doing the same thing. But his comments on Ms Coulter equivocating on the question of "Is Kennedy a traitor" seemed just plain dumb to me. Ms Coulter's answer was a No followed by her opinion. And the opinion suggests no one was a traitor in the Kennedy administration.

Ann Coulter: His heart was in the right place but he was surrounded by bad policymakers and he harm[ed] the country and its national security.

I just don't call that equivocating in any negative way if at all.

My main disagreement with Horowitz is the suggestion that it might work as satire. There is no rationalization for such language.......
