Wayne, on buying this dip..no not me...

No. Miners are still too over bought on the dailies....today's action will spring the red DMI line in many, further confirming the slowing of the positive momentum. The RSIs and STOS will be falling off their respective ceilings. In the end, that analysis may be wrong and the miners and gold may just keep on trucking, but just about every time I see this type of set up it says don't be too aggressive...

On the hourly of HL, for example, we've perhaps seen a key spike in the red DMI that should be followed by a lateral move near the lows set today....if tradition runs its course...setting up a buy later in the week.

Again this may all be overworking the obvious that we're in a bull. But heck, got to be true to your school.....school of thought at least...

COTS too high, indicators on the dailies too high, reversals likely to be seen here, dollar still bouncing, stock market hasn't given up, bonds recovering some.....all suggests keeping powder dry is the better thing to do in the short run...Besides on a valuation basis I can't find anything that looks less than dear with the exception of GOLD and RANGY and they are mixed up in the ASL bidding affair and I have plenty of them, already ....

Now if the HUI gets positive by the end of the day and the DOW reverses to end lower....then one has to figure the former technical considerations are worthless and something quite meaningful is setting up here....

Otherwise let's see 175-172 HUI.....before jumping in for more....

Best of fortune to you in your prospecting.
