Immtech soars as co. sees no reason for recent slide (IMMT) By Tomi Kilgore
Shares of Immtech International (IMMT) are soaring $1.51, or 49 percent, to $4.61 after the company said there were no developments that it was aware of that would account for the recent slide. In the previous two sessions, the shares had fallen 46 percent. The company assured that its development efforts of its drugs "are on track" and that results have met or exceeded expectations. The company's treatment for Trypanosomiasis (African sleeping sickness) and PCP (a fungal infection in the lungs) are currently progressing with Phase II trials.
