The comment I made was about you acting as a repository for the opinions of others (rather than having them as your own). Frankly, I see nothing wrong with agenda driven commentary, as long as everyone knows what it is.

Well, if no one ever thought about asking where's the beef, I'd say the reputations any particular historian is peccable in the area where facts are lean.

I think Coulter is trying to make the point that the obtuseness of the Times and the Progressives support of anti-anti-communism along with the academic support of the term McCarthyism as a pejorative never seems to go away and deserves a regular airing in public. Using "treason" as a broad brush to get this message out may cause the enlightened to wince but considering the pulpit of her adversaries I'm not sure a lesser stance would have brought any attention to the matter.
