The U.S. Attorney will recommend the imposition of a 20-year prison sentence... As part of his plea, Lawrence waived any right to appeal, and agreed to cooperate fully with the U.S. Attorney and the receiver appointed as part of the Securities and Exchange Commission's related case in identifying assets.

20 years, even after acceptance of a plea? Wow, good job by the SEC, at least in comparison to the usual routine of not admitting guilt and paying a token monetary amount. Any company wishing to sue message board posters -- as Znetix did -- had now better seriously consider the possible implications of the extra attention they surely will receive as a result.
