Can someone help? I have a new laptop. It has a S-video port so I can connect it to my TV. My TV with the s-video port apparently is too big as I can't read my spreadsheet on the screen. My smaller TVs do not have a S-video. Is there another way of connecting the laptop to the smaller TV? I have tried to adjust the screen size, it was better but I could not see what I need on the lasptop screen. This is for an investment club meeting that I want to do some stock spreadsheets.

computer vulnerability.
talking with a friend of mine and he asked the following two questions. he has cable modem and continuos connection. I explained how msblaster surfed the net looking for unprotected ports.
he inquired:
1. was his computer vulnerable if it was not powered up?
2. he has a router, with goes from the modem to two computers. does the router add an level of protection?
