I hope you have noticed that the article you have posted is some religious guys' notion of Islam. Just like there are nuts in Christianity who preach burning Harry Potter books because Exodus 22:18 says "Suffer not a witch to live".

And no, many more people listen to Bin Ladin than some university in Egypt.
