Russell NOT a perennial bear. You are right Little Joe. I was a fledgling stock broker in Philadelphia in 1974 and first picked up his $1 three issue trial. Thought he was "doom and gloomer". Then he called the bottom of the bear market in late 1974. Then he was a perennial bull, until September, 1999 (by my count, bullish for 25 years). Now he's a bear. Pretty darn good calls. If he's still a bear now -- one more reason to NOT be in the general U.S. stock market
