Dear Maurice:
I know it was not funny, and hope no one else thinks its funny.
I also know it is not funny when people in the mainstream Press come out every day with a list of killed and wounded in Iraq.
How many firemen and police were killed today ? Not important.
How many highway deaths not important.
The only casualty of importance today that makes the headlines is a US casualty and they priint a story as though he is the bad guy????
Slanted news .
Sig

<<And it's as hilarious as when you could hear the thuds on Real TV, as filmed by the fireman who recorded some of the action at the World Trade Center in Noo Yawk as people on top of the Twin Towers tried base jumping without parachutes.>>

I watched that program, it was amateur movie makers filming a day in the NTFD. They picked one hell of a day. Those thuds made an impression on me that will last the rest of my life. I also watched the A&E special on how those towers got built. It boggled my mind how anyone would want to destroy that much work.
