Ouch. I put it on reserve about a week ago and don't expect to get a copy for several months. Sorry to hear it's not a good read. There's a trajectory here which Clancy may be reaching. Famous popular novelists either get addicted to the money and start churning out stuff just to get the best seller dollars, perhaps that's Clancy; or famous popular novelists decide they can write serious novels as well as, say, Norman Mailer, and you get boredom, say John Grisham, who may actually illustrate both points.
