Hmm, I vote for believable. The way I read the tea leaves, the economy is more of less stuck. On the one hand, the Fed and the Bushies are doing what they can to be heroic Keynesians, while at the same time, the gas keeps getting let out of the employment bag. They say that the U.S. economy is like a supertanker, hard to change direction or speed. Right about now, I see it stalled in neutral with no particular place to go.
