GZ and Chuck:

Where is the victory? Is it war against Iraq or should it be war against terrorism. Are US troops to fight for those graves of the WTC victims and not for those graves somewhere in Iraq who have been brutalized by Saddam. What about putting the US lives first before t hose of the Iraqis. While we cheer and jeer from the sidelines, the fact of the matter is that a bunch of greedy folks in DC have gone wild and formulating policies for their own gains even if it costs American lives. Explain Schlumberger contracts. Explain why Bush is not chasing the damn terrorists and “smoking then from their foxholes” as he had said. Explain why it is so important for him to have a photoop flying onto the deck of the carrier and declaring the war over prematurely. Yes Chuck, I agree with your line, give hell to those bastards who bomb the Marriott in Indonesia, to those who bomb the Jordanian embassy and the UN headquarters in Baghdad, right in the heart of the city where Bush claims victory. But where is the beef.

It is not the question of whether Bush lied or not. I think that he personally is a very good man. But he and the people he has surrounded himself with are crooks, out to fend for their own interests
