Education programs designed to make everyone comfortable and excepting of a "particular" sexuality is pretty much in that same boat.

I don't look at it that way. I think sexualizing kids early is a really, really bad societal trend. It's tough enough when they get older and develop an interest on their own. Initiatives to normalize certain sexuality in the broad society is another matter entirely. As long as it's not targeted at kids, of course. At which point it would be, in my mind, no different that any other sexual message assault on kids.

Which reminds me of a snippet from the article I posted to Chris about taunting homosexual kids. It said that kids are coming out earlier and earlier, as early as twelve. The article mentioned that so casually that I was stunned. I can't imagine how the people being interviewed for the article could think that was a good thing, or even a neutral thing. Seems to me than anyone underage is too young and inexperienced to make that kind of life path commitment. There's just too much at stake.

I just hate the exposure kids get to sex. Divas should get some clothes on and rappers should have their mouths washed out with soap.
