14:31 ET Floor Talk An institutional desk put today's action in perspective by telling me that they could hear a pin drop in their offices. Market makers continue to see tech stocks exhibit upwards trajectories with no real incremental data warranting the increase. While there is not a myriad of research being disseminated, it seems as though a flurry of bulge bracket analysts collectively decided to start publishing positive commentary on tech names, specifically in the semiconductor and EMS sectors. We are not hearing too much anticipation associated with tonight's SEMI book-to-bill numbers with the street very mixed on what to expect.
