I'm seeing a large number of "For Rent" signs here in Northern Virginia as well as the "For Sale" signs greatly diminished in number. The market segment of those looking for a new home by the new school year has been passed. A small townhouse down the street was recently listed at over 500 K, or about 50% above a similar house sold two years ago.
