Why is it despicable? I'm stating my opinion; that if Chelsea had the same 'issues' as the Bush kids, that the media would use it as an indication of Clinton's character.

If you disagree, fine. Why is it despicable? And how is it irrelevant to a discussion of character as seen through the eyes of the media?
