Howie:

I have a load of McMillan which I bought lower and have substantial profit. Another of Jim's picks that is doing well is Queenstake. I am a long suffering of Sultan Minerals which has not participated thus far, but their drilling season in in the fall and they need a higher pog. I think it will be a great stock if POG rises.

Howard, yes two days' results I can live with, too.

Wasn't shaken out of too much yesterday that I didn't get back on pretty well near where I exited, today....was up yesterday and much more today, though I can't claim to the percentage results you report, not being as "geared to miners....40% of portfolio...only....

I think it's rather imperative that GOLD, that yellow metal, find some friends and get a move on...The assumption is nearly universal that it will and that's what bothers me.... Of course, the futures have to fight the heavy hand of the commercial short position, which with the smart increase in Open Interest on Friday, I'm pretty sure they are sitting on 110K net short position. In plotted history GOLD has not meaningfully rallied when the commercials were this short....

I'm not 100% guided by the COT numbers - but I respect them....

I suspect the really good news is that I have yet to hear it reported on CNBC that gold miner shares are making new highs.....please, let that continue.

Howie,

IMO,It is critical that both gold and silver move above their recent high. Otherwise, the shares will go down very seriously. We are at a threshold. But as you said, the market looks strong. So we have all reasons to be optimistic.

I've been following MMG for quite sometimes. Can't say that I am excited by those results, but they are a start. With 32M shares fully diluted we have a market cap of $12M which is not excessive. But at this price, I would like to see better intercepts and grades before jumping in. Penasquito being just 20km helps MMG. A story to follow.
