As difficult as it may seem the co ordinated efforts of several special operations type groups along with para military groups along with specially trained Kurdish groups are now required to get Iraq back on track for US goals. Clandestine operations of the darkest nature are now in order. It has progressed well beyond the ability of conventional forces to control......... I am surprised and disappointed that Rumsfeld has let it go this far, he is supposed to know better. I am surprised and disappointed that General Powell has been silenced. I wish someone would drop retired General Barry Mccafferty into a Baghdad hot zone without a weapon, just his mouth to get him out. What the fuc...is Bush doing on vacation, playing golf, fund raising.

It's a dang shame that the Washington Times internet edition didn't elect to carry today's commentary by Ion Mihai Pacepa, former Romanian spy chief, who is apparently the highest ranking defector from that country.. His article discussed the activities of Russia vis-a-vis possibly assisting in hiding Saddam's unaccounted for chemical weapons... He discussed Yevgeny Primakov's actions just after UNSC 1441 was passed, possibly conducting a "Sarindar" operation (what he called it) where the Russian's were tasked with desposing of any trace of Saddam's WMD inventory which could be traced back to them.. Maybe it will be posted later on this week... Keep on eye out for it.. Hawk
